How to Organize Pages
- Add your PDF. Drag the file onto the drop zone. Every page is rendered into a grid of thumbnails you can work with directly.
- Rearrange and edit. Drag thumbnails to reorder them. Each page has controls to rotate, duplicate or delete it, and you can select several pages at once.
- Review the result. The grid always shows the document as it will be saved, so what you see is the final page order.
- Save. Click Save PDF to rebuild the document from the pages as arranged, then download it.
What you can fix here
This is the tool for problems that live inside a single file rather than between several:
- A double-sided scan that came out interleaved, with all the fronts followed by all the backs in reverse.
- Blank pages from a scanner feeder that need removing before you send the file on.
- A page that scanned upside down or sideways while the rest came out fine.
- An appendix that belongs at the end but landed in the middle.
- A form page you need twice because two people have to sign it.
Rotating here versus using the Rotate tool
Both fix orientation, but they suit different situations. Rotate PDF applies one rotation across the whole document or to a stated range, which is what you want when an entire scan came out sideways.
Organize Pages lets you rotate individual pages by clicking them, which is what you want when three pages out of forty are wrong. Doing that by typing page ranges is far more tedious than clicking three thumbnails.
Either way the rotation is saved into the file itself, not just applied to the view — so it stays fixed for whoever opens it next.
Why the whole document stays on your device
Deleting a page from a PDF on a server has an awkward property: to remove the page, the server has to receive it first. If you are stripping out an internal comment, a salary line or a page of someone else's personal data before forwarding a document, uploading the original defeats the exercise.
Here the PDF is rendered and rebuilt entirely inside your browser tab. Pages you delete are simply never included in the output, and no version of the file — original or edited — is transmitted anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Is the original PDF modified?
No. The tool builds a new document from the pages as you arranged them. The file on your disk stays exactly as it was, so you can start over at any point.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Thumbnails are rendered by your browser and the rebuilt PDF is assembled locally. Pages you delete are never transmitted anywhere, which is normally the entire point of deleting them.
Can I select multiple pages at once?
Yes. Shift-click for a range or ctrl/cmd-click for individual pages, then rotate or delete the whole selection in one action.
Will deleting pages make the file smaller?
Usually, but less than you would expect. PDFs share resources like fonts between pages, so removing half the pages rarely halves the size. Run Compress PDF afterwards if size is the goal.
Can I combine pages from two different PDFs?
Not in this tool — it works on one document. Use Merge PDF to combine the files first, then open the merged result here to arrange the pages.
Does rearranging pages hurt quality?
No. Pages are copied without re-encoding, so images keep their resolution and text stays selectable and searchable.
Why are thumbnails slow to appear on a big document?
Every page has to be rendered to produce its preview, and that work happens on your device rather than a server. A few hundred pages takes a moment on a laptop and longer on a phone.
