How to Create PDF
- Start writing. Click into the editor and type. Use the toolbar to add headings, bold, italic and lists as you go.
- Format as needed. Select text and click a toolbar button to apply formatting, the same way any text editor works.
- Choose a page size. Pick A4 or Letter.
- Create the PDF. Download the finished document.
A deliberately simple editor
This isn't a word processor — it's a focused tool for writing a short document and getting a clean PDF out the other end: a cover letter, a simple report, a set of notes, a one-page announcement. Headings, bold, italic, and bulleted or numbered lists cover most of what a document like that actually needs.
The output is real text, not an image of the editor. Whatever you write comes out selectable, searchable and small, using the same underlying engine that powers this site's Word-to-PDF and Markdown-to-PDF tools.
Nothing is saved anywhere
There's no draft-saving, no account, and no server this content is ever sent to — closing the tab loses anything not yet downloaded, the same as writing on a piece of paper you haven't put in a folder yet. For a short document created and downloaded in one sitting, that trade-off is usually the right one: nothing you write here exists anywhere but your own device.
Frequently asked questions
Will the PDF text be selectable?
Yes. Everything you write is drawn into the PDF as real text with an embedded font, not captured as an image of the editor.
Is my content uploaded or saved anywhere?
No. The editor and PDF generation both run entirely in your browser, and nothing is saved once you close the tab unless you've downloaded it.
Can I insert images or tables?
Not currently — this editor covers headings, bold, italic and lists. For a document that needs tables, the CSV to PDF or Markdown to PDF tools handle tables directly.
Does it autosave as I type?
No. There's no draft storage, which is a direct consequence of nothing being sent anywhere — download the PDF when you're done, since closing the tab loses unsaved work.
Can I edit the PDF again later?
Not directly — once downloaded, it's a finished PDF. Keep your original text elsewhere (or reopen this tool and re-type it) if you expect to need further edits.
What page sizes are available?
A4 and Letter, the two standard sizes used for most documents worldwide.
