How Chat with PDF will handle your files
Like everything else on this site, Chat with PDF will run entirely inside your browser tab. Your file will never be uploaded, which means never stored on a server, never queued for processing, and never visible to anyone but you.
That constraint is decided before the tool is written rather than after. If a capability genuinely cannot work without a server, it does not ship here at all — which is why this page says it is unfinished instead of quietly sending your document somewhere.
